Refunds & Returns

Delivery
Goods are delivered by Parcel Force and will require a signature on receipt. If delivery has to be attempted more than twice due to the recipient not being in to receive the goods, a second delivery charge may be made. Furthermore, if the recipient requires a delivery to be redirected, a second delivery charge may also be incurred.

A delivery charge of £4.95 plus VAT will be charged on orders of less than £100.00. Orders over £100.00 will be delivered free throughout the United Kingdom.

It is our company policy to dispatch all orders by the next working day and in most case the order will be dispatched the same day.  We use Parcelforce 48 hour service or First Class mail, depending on the size of the parcel. A signature will be required at the point of delivery.

The Delivery Charge amount will be shown separately at the checkout and VAT added.

There are occasions where the demand on certain products outstrips supply and in these cases delivery may be more than 7 working days. If this problem arises, ChefsKit will contact you to update you on the progress of your order. For embroidered items, please allow up-to 14 working days. You will be required to sign to acknowledge receipt of your order when it is delivered .

Non Delivery, Damage in Transit
Please note that we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods. In the unlikely event that your product appears lost or is damaged in transit please contact us immediately by using our enquiry form. You must keep the original packing in case you have any reason to return your purchase.

Product Guarantee
In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with any product supplied by ChefsKit, you should use our enquiry form or telephone our help desk on 08452 412122. You can return any item of clothing for exchange or refund provided it is unused and returned in its original packaging and you have the Packing List documentation. This returns policy does not apply to altered, personalised or custom-made garments.

Cancellation of Order
You may return carriage paid any product to us within 7 days of receipt for a refund less original delivery cost and 20% handling fee providing it is unused and with its original packaging and providing our original invoice has been paid.

All returns must be authorised before despatch by telephoning our help desk on 08452 412122 when we will issue a Returns Authorisation number and address to return the product to.

ChefsKit cannot accept the return of any product or garment that has been embroidered with a logo or personalised in any other way.

Force Majeure
ChefsKit will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that chefskit.co.uk is prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any goods by any reason or cause beyond the control of ChefsKit.

Risk and Ownership
The risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address. Ownership of goods remains with ChefsKit. until payment for the goods are received in full.

Complaints
We aim to provide a high standard of customer service. If however we do get it wrong we will do everything in our power to put it right! We will acknowledge any complaint submitted to us.
